To give a greater impression of speed, I shot the GS training at slow shutter speeds, much slower than usual. These were test shots to see how slow I could shoot ski racing while getting reasonably sharp images.

Not surprisingly, I had to use faster shutter speeds for GS than I used in yesterday's slalom test shots.

Also, since some of the images showed good racer position but were flawed or not sharp, I made some serious changes in the usual digital processing. So, for example, images 9, 17, 18, and 20 have some pretty bizarre colors. And I am posting a few very blurry shots because they are very graphic and dynamic, such as images 1 and 2.

As usual, please don't take screen shots. Enjoy the posted images for free, or if you really must have them, the low-res images are very cheap.
