UAA was training on ideal snow and under ideal skies, and the team was making the most of it. Good day for training and for photography.
These are some random shots of the training. Note that most of the most distant images, taken at 500mm, are marginally ok, but they can't be significantly enlarged. I included many, after a lot of extra processing effort to control visual noise and increase sharpness, just to show how athletic the racers were on the Steilhung face. These are mainly for athletic, not photographic, appreciation.
The different shooting angles and distances made it hard to achieve uniform luminosity. Individual images can be processed more optimally. But my main goal was just to show what was going on, not create fine images.
