Women Run 1

Hi Everyone.

Uploading is now complete for Run 1. I uploaded many more photos than usual for several good reasons: the weather was good, making for great racing and great photos; the racing was excellent, with lots of fine skiing; the weather allowed me to shoot a lot more gates effectively than usual, producing a lot more choices and "looks,"; and this is one of the last race processing efforts for me, forever, since I'm retiring from race photography, but these last images depict some really fine racing, and I just couldn't keep a lot of good images from being seen. I hope people enjoy the extra coverage. If so, please let me know. [email protected]. (Juniors should copy a responsible adult with any messages.)

I was not able to photograph Run 2 of the women; I was approaching deadline for the Anchorage Daily News. And the Run 1 images gave a rich source of choices for media and for every racer.

I also uploaded into a dedicated gallery the images I sent the Anchorage Daily News and Ski Racing Magazine, both of which ran photos and stories. about the WR U16 Championships.
