Thank you for your patience while we retrieve your images.
Uploading is now (April 7) complete for both runs of the Women's U14 GS.

As always, these images are not fully edited, so color balance and luminosity and cropping may not be optimal.

I uploaded more images than usual, partly because the race season is winding down, and partly because there was a lot of really good skiing. But it is time consuming. It took less than an hour to photograph run 1. It is taking about three hours to edit and upload per run. That is (for anyone keeping track), a 3-to-1 ratio. That's why uploads take days of editing and processing after a race series ends.

There are some sequences when skiing was particularly dynamic.

When time permits, I will (finally) get back to posting on my blog site. The next few blog posts will discuss thoughts about photographing ski races and ski racers. I will explain what I think makes for a good race image, and why I upload some frames and not others of a racer as a particular turn progresses. And the posts will be illustrated. And the posts will answer or try to answer any questions about the process of shooting and editing and selecting and publishing race photos.
