The first two photos are what I sent to the ADN on February 15.

The captions I sent:

Dragging his left hand in the snow as he rounds the gate, Tanner Murphy drops into the steep Waterfall pitch en route to winning the U18 class and turning in the fastest time overall in the second of two Alyeska Cup U16 and U18 Super-Gs Tuesday.

Alyeska Ski Club U16 Ava Murphy won her class and was second overall behind U18 teammate Shyan Hargis in the second of two Alyeska Cup Super-Gs Tuesday. She here enters the steep Waterfall pitch in the second race.

Note that the prospects for newspaper recognition of athletes performance in this series is very unlikely, partly because the ski club has decided not to submit post-event stories or results for these races.
