This gallery holds my selected photos from the June 28, 2024, Pride and Prejudice performance held, with great skill and verve, in Treadwell.

Cast members and enthusiasts are welcome to download these images without charge, and cast and production staff are welcome to rely on them for personal use and career enhancement and portfolios. I would appreciate photo credit for any media reproduction of one of these image files. (Photo by Bob Eastaugh) And a copy of or link to any republication, please.

Political and commercial uses are not permitted or licensed uses and would violate my copyrights to the images. Plus, special, and significant, rate charges would apply to any commercial or political usage.

Lighting was a challenge, so many exposures are relatively compromised.
Shooting conditions limit the size of quality images, and probably 6x9 inches or the equivalent is optimal. But if you are adventuresome, an 8x10 or equivalent could work. (I used three different cropped aspect ratios: 3x2, 10x8, and square, to idealize composition.)

The digital downloads I am permitting are free, and you are welcome to make prints (at your expense) from them. The permitted downloads are not full original size, but even though my original files are much larger, bigger files would not maintain optimal image quality. If a cast member has a pressing need for a larger quality image, email me ([email protected]) and I'll see if the desired image can be larger without losing the quality I expect and require.

I normally authorize purchase of prints from the very good Mpix lab, but it is easier and cheaper for anyone wanting prints to get them from Fred Meyer or some other local print shop.

It was, by the way, a fun and enthusiastic performance by a skilled and charming cast. Congratulations to everyone who made the show possible. Including, of course, the author. Jane knew what she was doing.

It was a privilege to see and photograph the show, and my goal is to support the company and performers in a small way by making the images available for their viewing and use.

I prepared to photograph the show by re-watching the BBC and Keira Knightly productions, seeing for the first time Sir Laurence Olivier's 1940 movie version, and re-reading the novel. The Treadwell performance held its own with the BBC and Knightly productions for charm and fun and energy and skill and far surpassed Sir Laurence's version in every way. The novel remains incomparable.

I would be grateful for any comments regarding the website or photos. Thank you for visiting.
