Here are the Alyeska Cup Slalom 1 photos. As with the other ski racing galleries, I kept the small prints (4X6) inexpensive so any racer can easily afford them; the pricing of large prints reflects the time needed to take, edit, and post them to the website at a quality level that permits bigger prints. The net difference between the print costs and sales prices will be donated to the junior program.

For those interested, all action photos in the Alyeska Cup series were taken with a Canon 5D3, and a 100-400 Canon lens. The camera is a full-frame digital camera with an advanced focusing system and excellent low-light capability. The weather required that most images be captured at ISO of 1600 to 4000, depending on light quality. (Rare sun, as for SL 2, allowed 800 ISO.) For the action shots, I used shutter priority (Tv) to maintain adequate shutter speed, usually at 1/1600 second.
