I shot only part of Race 2. And some of the shots were experiments with slow shutter speeds, to emphasize motion and render the image (and racer) much more abstract. If you are bothered by having been rendered more "abstract," I'm sorry, but I wasn't planning on shooting any of Race 2, so this is sort of a bonus. Just think of it as the graphic analogy to the Poetry Contest.

Some of the slow-shutter speed shots are more successful than others, but racers and races are a collection of moving parts and trying to pan with a racer is not likely to completely stop all head motion.
