Uploading to women's SL race 2 gallery is now complete. I could not photograph run 2.

The weather conditions were about the worst I've ever seen for photographing ski races. Rain never helps, but big wet snow flakes seriously interfere with focusing and image quality. And the conditions weren't consistent. A serious snow shower played havoc with some racers but not all. So I may limit ordering sizes to avoid disappointment. If so, I will create a special list that restrricts and orders to smaller sizes digital files and prints.

The FIS free offer also applies to this gallery. But generally the best image quality will be seen in images when the racers were closest to me. I often started shooting at more distant gates, but those images are usually compromised in quality. Feel free to email if you have questions; I can check the original files and tell you whether a file will be good at a particular size.

Important: Each racer in the WR FIS Devo Series is entitled to download, for free, one digital image from the galleries for the series. The image file will be suitable for high quality about 6x9 viewing on a big screen. How to download your free image file: Go to the series galleries, select one image, click the "buy" button, on the image price list select the FREE FIS FILE option, go to checkout, enter the needed information (name must correspond to race start list), and check out. Use this coupon code: WRFIS2022a to reduce the file price to zero. You will receive a confirming email, and after I approve the order (for image quality and for one coupon and one file for racer for the series) you will receive instructions how to download the file. A zipped file will be sent to you. It will be sharp at 6x9 on a big screen. Larger than that, "jaggies" will start to appear.
