Sunlight!
Uploading of women's run 2 is complete.
My photos sometimes capture unfortunate on-course events and I sometimes include those images in the race galleries. I do so not to emphasize possible bad fortune, but to show how challenging and difficult this sport is. Such images are included out of sympathy with racers who didn't get to achieve what they hoped.
And to some extent, there is a photo-journalistic component of recording what happened on a given day on a given course. And sometimes there are miraculous recoveries.
