Dreamy, Creamy, Part Three; France, Maui, 2010, 2014, 2016-2017

Maui can be inherently dreamy in the evening and not much manipulation was needed to make the first two images look dreamy and creamy.

Paris can be emotionally dreamy in a romantic way.  But in general it offers a wealth of precise images, and creamy isn't a word you would normally use here.  But there are exceptions.  Here is the Seine looking upriver toward Notre Dame.

And the statues near Pont Alexandre III are valid subjects.  If you start with a horse with wings, what can you expect?

Giverny, as modified by Monet, is a dreamy scene.

Early morning traffic in drizzle and mist on Pont Alexandre !I! is also a valid subject.

After a lifetime of mainly expressing myself with words, my postings here will mainly rely on images.  They will speak for themselves to some extent, but I'll usually add a few comments of explanation.  I've taken photographs for decades, since the 1950's, inspired in part by my father's photographic skill.  Four years of photo assignments and quality darkroom time eventually gave way to decades of casual and family picture-taking.  I re-immersed myself when I left film and turned to digital.
